Boom. Today the Bruins have announced that they have signed Providence College center and unrestricted free agent Noel Acciari to a two year deal. Acciari captained the 2015 NCAA Champion Providence College Friars and also won the Hockey East Defense Foward of the Year award. Here’s a quick rundown from reddit user u/tuukkas.

• Won the best defensive forward award in the Hockey East in the 2014-2015 season
• 32 points in 41 games this season, scoring at a .78 ppg rate
• Using NHLe, his points last season to the NHL would be 13.12 points in 41 games, therefore he could reasonably be expected to score around 26.24 points in a full NHL season
