Let me be clear: I am not here to hate.
The Cardinals held their 2nd annual ‘Ultimate Fan Video Contest’ for a chance to have an “ultimate opening day experience”.
This is your winner:
That video was made by one Robbie Sondag. And Mr. Sondag will (presumably) be enjoying a nice little opening day courtesy of the Cardinals.
If that name is familiar, it’s because Mr. Sondag was ALSO the winner of the 1st ‘Ultimate Fan Video Contest’ last year.

Mr. Sondag’s videos might not be your speed, but he’s at least putting in the work. The fact that he was able to take down the crown in back to back years doesn’t bode well for the amount of fan-made videos that the Cardinals are getting.
Next year, let’s see if we can’t get some fresh blood.
Or at the very least, allow past videos to be eligible.
