While Cleveland was busy watching the Cavs game Monday night, less than 13 thousand (presumably Cardinals fans) watched St. Louis beat the Indians.
Did you know that the Cardinals, prior to tonight, were just 6-14 against Cleveland in 20 games played and have never beaten the Indians in back-to-back games or in a series (7)?
It was a good night to start changing all that. It’s now 7-14!

Headlining the re-cap was the return of MARP to the Cardinals lineup who went 2/5 with 1 RBI after not traveling with the team to Pittsburgh. Maybe he really was just tired?
Here’s to him going on a real tear this next week and giving us all an excuse to ask the boss for some bonus days off.
Lance Lynn celebrated his 28th birthday by throwing 6 innings, recording 9 strikeouts and surrendering 0 earned runs. Kids, that’s a quality start.
And Matt Holliday continues to be the MVP candidate that nobody seems to want to talk about being an MVP candidate. His pop flys are turning into deep flys in early May, which only bodes well for his power stats when it starts warming up in the Midwest.

After a couple of tough losses to the Pirates, the Cardinals got back on track in a big way on Tuesday night.
Nice. Very nice.
