You know, because Spring Training for the Diamondbacks isn’t close or anything and I’m sure they’re all set with the roster.
OK, ok.
It’s not THAT big of a deal. And it’s not directly related to the Cardinals. He’s just a dude that loves pets that’s coming back to a town he lived in for a decade plus to wave at drunk idiots like us freezing our butts off.
And I haven’t seen this posted anywhere official to confirm the above Tweet. So maybe it’s not true.
Still…
Pitchers and catchers report in 15 days. Or 12 days from Sunday. At least for the D-Backs. And their Chief Baseball Officer will be in St. Louis. Because he’s TOTALLY STILL IN LOVE with this baseball mecca.
I guess I don’t blame him.
