Some people raised their eyebrows a few weeks ago when the Buffalo Bills benched would-be franchise quarterback E.J. Manuel for Kyle Orton. They’re not second-guessing anymore, as the Bills sit comfortably at 5-3 and have a realistic shot at either claiming the AFC East title or snagging a wild card playoff spot.
Of course, such things are easier said than done. With November holding a critical stretch of the season, let’s take a look at Buffalo’s games, as well as the value of Bills tickets over the next month:
Week 10 VS. Kansas City Chiefs (11/9/14) | Average Ticket Price: $97 | Get-in Ticket Price: $41
The Bills are somewhat hot with a two-game winning streak and will enter this week 10 home contest fresh off of a bye. That’s bad news for the Chiefs, as Buffalo should be well rested and ready to defend their turf. It should be a close game, but if Buffalo’s elite defense snuffs out Jamaal Charles and KC’s ground game, they should be able to pull this one out.
Week 11 @ Miami Dolphins (11/13/14) | Average Ticket Price: $176 | Get-in Ticket Price: $6
This is the only road game in the month of November for the Bills and it just happens to have the highest average ticket price at $176. It comes in a heated AFC East rivalry clash, too, as Kyle Orton’s bunch heads to South Beach to take on the Dolphins. Buffalo dominated this matchup earlier in week two, so they could easily get the season series sweep here.
Though the average is high, tickets start at just six bucks so there’s clearly cheap tickets to be had. Expensive tickets can be found as well with Sun Life Stadium suites available at $14,000, according to SuiteHop.com.
Week 12 VS. New York Jets (11/23/14) | Average Ticket Price: $144 | Get-in Ticket Price: $46
Another hyped divisional showdown comes the following week, as the Bills host Rex Ryan’s Jets. Gang Green has spiraled out of control and doesn’t pose much of a threat on either side of the ball anymore. The last meeting was a bashing by the hands of the Bills, too, so it’s hard to see Buffalo not completing the series sweep here at home.
Week 13 VS. Cleveland Browns (11/30/14) | Average Ticket Price: $144 | Get-in Ticket Price: $45
Another winnable game greets the Bills in week 13, as they face the Browns in their third home contest of the month. Buffalo should be able to move the ball on Cleveland’s inconsistent defense, while the Browns’ offense should struggle if they can’t run on Buffalo’s top-five run defense. If that happens, the Bills should take the win and could seriously be 9-3 heading into December.
The $144 average ticket price is the same as the Jets game, and reasonably high compared to the rest of the league. Considering you can grab a FirstEnergy Stadium suite ticket for $275 had this game been in Cleveland, it’s clear Bills tickets are on the up and up with this season’s performance.
