-Well, it shouldn’t shock anyone that the Bills didn’t get any primetime games this year. They just aren’t a very sexy draw when it comes to national TV. I assure you, if they do draft Cam Newton (if he falls to us), we will have a primetime game in 2012-
-Alright, we all know that it’s impossible and stupid to judge how many games the Bills will lose/win this year, based on looking at the schedule in April. But, what the hell!? If you want to be optimistic, the Bills can probably win 7 games this year. They could start out the year 3-1, as the Bengals, Chiefs and Raiders don’t exactly put the fear of god into me. The Redskins stink and might have Rex Grossman starting for god sakes. Titans are kind of hit or miss. We usually beat Miami once a year and the Broncos are rebuilding. Honestly, if the Bills go 7-9 and have some key developments on the way (Defense gets better and young players make progress), I’ll be happy as sh#t. Remember, this is a 3-year rebuilding process at least, so by year two, getting close to .500 should be the goal-
-If I am a Canadian and I actually care about the Toronto series, I wouldn’t exactly be thrilled with the crummy Redskins coming to town. When the news first leaked that the Eagles were going to be the opponent in the Toronto series, it totally made sense. Whether you hate Vick or not, he’s got box office credentials. He’s worth the price of admission and is a once in a lifetime talent. Anyways, the Bills and the Rogers people didn’t see it that way I guess. Not to speculate, but maybe Vick having a criminal record had something to do with it. If I’m correct, aren’t the laws in Canada really strict when it comes to allowing people into their country with a conviction on their record? I’m serious, too. Alright, I’m sure I’m wrong-
-In what is becoming the new Bills vs Browns saga (Sarcasm), the Bills are playing the Chiefs for the 4th straight year, which have all taken place in Arrowhead. The Bills are 2-1 in those meetings-
-I have to say, I really hope the Bills beat the crap out of the Cowboys in Dallas. I totally loathe everything about that franchise, and frankly, it doesn’t have much to do with the Super Bowl losses. The Cowboys are the epitome of what sucks about the NFL. Corporate greed, expensive seats, a gigantic stadium where you must make 6 figures in order to attend, a jackass of an owner, a QB who always looks like he has a sarcastic grin on his face, and we may as well mention the Super Bowls. Yes, folks, I hate Dallas!-
-BTW, in keep with the running tradition of going to the final home game of the year, which is going on 6 years I believe, I’m so looking forward to the duel between Brady Quinn vs Levi Jones and tickets being 15 bucks :P-
-Well, it’s about fricken time we get New England at home for the first go around. Everyone knows that this series seems to be more competitive during the first match-up, which ends up building our confidence for the 2nd meeting, only to then set us up to get destroyed by the Pats the 2nd time around. Well, for the first time since 2004, we got the bastards at home for our first meeting. To quote Johnny Drama from Entourage, “VICTORY!!!” Alright, it’s a stretch, but don’t tell me that some of those close calls in Foxboro over the years, wouldn’t have made a difference if those games were in Buffalo-
-Judging by the ticket prices, no way in hell I’m seeing the Giants or Jets play the Bills in Jersey-
-The Bills haven’t beaten the Eagles since 1999, the Cowboys since 1996, the Chargers since 2002, the Titans since 2000 and the Patriots since…Oh, gees, you know the date. However, the Bengals haven’t beaten the Bills since I was 8-years old (1988).-
-At least we don’t have Cleveland!!?-
-On a sidenote: Fans in Buffalo should be thrilled that the Eagles are coming to town. That’s an entertaining team. Plus, the fans can boo the crap out of Jason Peters-
-Anyone want to take a wager that the Bills will play a Randy Moss led team this year?-
-No way in hell the Bills start the season 0-8 like they did last year-
-Marcus Stroud makes his return to Buffalo for week 3. Yeah…I didn’t care either-

-I’m soooooooooooooooooo over the stupid draft hype. Just finished with it. So, Buddy Nix said he’d rather have a defensive lineman, who is geared more towards stopping the run than rushing the passer. So, that must only mean that Marcell Dareus is his favorite defensive player. Wow! You deserve a medal and a fortune teller business! However, there’s kind of a legit problem with that, it’s already been established by every single draft expert in the country that Dareus is the best defensive player in the draft?! So, spare me with your reading between the lines crap. When will everyone know that everything these GMs and coaches say is complete BS and we shouldn’t read into any of this crap. Unless Buddy Nix gets on the Maury Povich show and has to submit to a lie detector test, I’m not going to believe anything he says. His job is to say that every single player is awesome, in order to not tip his cap to who he likes. It’s misinformation anyway you slice it. The organization surprised us last year with the selection of CJ Spiller, when the only paper trail connected to him was Chan Gailey’s water-bug comment at the Combine. Just stop predicting. I know it’s impossible to avoid, because we’ve been twiddling our thumbs for the last two months with no NFL free agency and a crappy lockout, but lets leave the mind reading to Carnac the Magnificent (RIP)-
-BTW, for the geniuses who discovered that Nix likes guys who stop the run more than rushing the passer, you may want to just look at the defensive players that the Bills added last year: Dwan Edwards, Torrell Troup and Alex Carrington are all known for their ability to stop the run than rushing the passer. Bottom line: If you want to write/talk about them leaning towards a specific direction because of reading between the soundbites, I can live with that, but don’t try and say, “A-HA!? I’ve cracked the code just like Morpheus did in Matrix.” I’m all about looking at the draft history of whoever the GM, team, owner and coach are, rather than what they are saying at a free lunch.
-BTW, Peter King has his mock draft up and has the Bills taking Von Miller. It should be noted that King had the Bills taking Dan Williams, Aaron Maybin, Devin Thomas and Paul Pozluzny with their last four first round picks-
-If there is one mock draft you need to look out for, it’s Mark Gaughan. Everyone knows that he has the best sources within the Bills organization. Last year, he predicted Spiller, when no other expert had that.-
